\u00a0<\/span>REMINDERS<\/span><\/u><\/b><\/p>

  • Quarterly exams are an important instructional tool and assessment component of a student\u2019s marks in the High School. Hence, students are required to be present for all examinations. To preserve their integrity, quarterly exams and assessments will only be given on their scheduled date. <\/span>Knowing the school calendar, parents are expected to plan accordingly.<\/u><\/b><\/li>
  • Students whose absence during a scheduled exam or assessment is unexcused will receive a grade of F for the exam missed.\u00a0 Please note that only the students who are sick and those who are on a school-sanctioned activity will be excused. Students who are absent due to illness will be required to present a doctor\u2019s certificate.\u00a0 If a student is seriously ill on the day of an examination, parents should inform the school before the start of the exams.<\/span><\/li>
  • In the event that classes are suspended during a quarterly test day, the sequence of exams will still be followed upon the resumption of classes; i.e., when QT Day 1 is suspended \u2013 the exams scheduled on Day 1 will be given once classes resume.<\/span><\/li>
  • Parents are requested NOT to<\/span> <\/b>call-up or set appointments with the subject teachers for the duration of the exams until the official release of grades unless requested by the teachers concerned.\u00a0 This is to give teachers ample time to prepare the grades.<\/span><\/li>
  • For assistance, please call the HS Principal\u2019s Office (loc. 3700, 3701, 3702, 3703, and 3704).
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Lastly, note that the seven-day cycle will continue even during the quarterly tests.\u00a0 As such, if August 14 is Day 2<\/u>(last regular class day for the 1st quarter), then QT days are Days 3-5, August 20 is Day 6<\/u> (start of the 2nd quarter) and so forth.<\/span><\/p>
