The Xavier School community banded together in showing their appreciation for the faculty and staff in this year\u2019s iteration of Appreciation Day named PrimeTime, Sept. 30.

This day is dedicated for students to give their appreciation and gratitude to all of the teachers, mentors, faculty members, and unsung heroes of the school like the maintenance and security staff. 
<\/span>
In the morning, classes prepared their own classroom program, with each class having a dedicated television series to decorate their classrooms with and celebrate this year\u2019s A-Day. 
<\/span>
Filled with games, heartfelt speeches, and the coveted salo-salo portion of the program, students, their mentors, and their teacher guests were able to bond and have fun before the Gym program commenced. 
<\/span>
After the classroom program and cleanup, the students were brought to the High School Gym courtesy of the cadets. There, the High School community watched as each department walked down the center of the front stage, cheered on by their advisees, students, and former students in upper batches. The teachers were truly the stars of the show through the dedication and support to every student that they encounter.  <\/span><\/p>\n

After the march by each department, the program opened with the band Eclectica, with its performances of Paramore\u2019s Still Into You and an original piece properly setting the mood of this year\u2019s A-Day.
<\/span>
The popular TV show Family Feud was played after the musical performance and it was hosted by Kean Tong.<\/span><\/p>\n

The two families competing against each other were two student volunteers and two teacher volunteers. Questions regarding our students and our teachers were asked. 
<\/span>
In the end, the survey said that the student family was able to snatch a close victory of 105 points to 99 points, awarding them with their very own A-Day committee T-shirt.
<\/span>
Following the Family Feud segment, DanceX performed, opening with TWICE\u2019s “Strategy” and songs from K-Pop Demon Hunters, “Soda Pop” and “Your Idol”, amping up the energy of the program.<\/span><\/p>\n

The high school principal\u2019s team composed of Mrs. Ma. Theresa Ladrido, Ms. Maricel Ngo, Mr. Paolo Suapengco, and Mrs. Chaveli Dela Cerna all joined in on the dance Soda Pop which further hyped up the high school gym.

Before the program officially ended, the High School community sang the theme from TV show Friends, I\u2019ll Be There For You by The Rembrandts.
<\/span>
As the A-Day program concluded and everyone returned to their classrooms with a smile on their faces and stomachs and hearts full, may the students not forget that every day is a chance to say thank you to teachers, mentors, and unsung heroes of their lives.
<\/span>
This year’s A-Day program really put those important to students in the spotlight, as every teacher is a superstar that guides the students to become better persons for others. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
