Last February, the XS83 Foundation core group, led by Richard Sy-Facunda, Allan Cotaoco, and Portia Vitug, made an ocular inspection to asses the needs of the community. The location has three makeshift classrooms. Plans are in place to erect a concrete structure when funding becomes available.\u00a0The apostolic mission of the batch, through its current president, Jojo Nolasco, Jr., was made possible by invaluable support from San Miguel Corporation, Mercury Drug Corporation, Gerry&#8217;s Grill, Optic Ichiba &amp; Xavier School. \u00a0<\/span><\/p><p style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-family: 'Noto Serif'; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; color: #191e23; white-space: pre-wrap;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-family: 'Noto Serif'; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; color: #191e23; white-space: pre-wrap;\">The St. Francis Learning Center provides elementary and high school education for the Aeta community in Zambales. Aside from this, it also provides adult literacy program to the parents of the school children. Back in 2002, Fr. Santos Mena, S.J. approached XS83 to adopt this community as one of their beneficiaries. The XS83 Foundation members annually visits Subic to do medical missions and co-celebrate Indigenous People Sunday with our Aeta brothers.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-family: 'Noto Serif'; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; color: #191e23; white-space: pre-wrap;\">With over 150 families in the community, the medical mission offered tooth extraction, <\/span><em style=\"box-sizing: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-family: 'Noto Serif'; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 400; color: #191e23; white-space: pre-wrap;\">operation<\/em>\u00a0<em style=\"box-sizing: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-family: 'Noto Serif'; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 400; color: #191e23; white-space: pre-wrap;\">tuli<\/em><span style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-family: 'Noto Serif'; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; color: #191e23; white-space: pre-wrap;\">, free reading glasses, and basic medical check ups.\u00a0 Medicine and supplements were also given out for free.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-variant-ligatures:
