The purpose of the competition is to provide students an enriching opportunity to participate in an academically- oriented activity and to let students gain recognition for mathematical achievement.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The following Xaverians garnered awards in their respective categories:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Math League Middle School World Championship&nbsp;<\/b><br><b>June 27, 2021<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-family: Barlow, sans-serif; font-size: 18px; font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 18px;\">Awardees<\/span>:<br><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 18px;\">Jayce Preston S. Wong of G8G \u2013 3rd place in G7<br><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 18px;\">Jacob Miles Anthony S. Tan of G9B \u2013 3rd place in G8<br><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 18px;\">Marcus Jaden G. Castro of G9C \u2013 8th place in G8<br><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">(NOTE: The delegates from our school participated under the year level of the previous school year)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>International Regions Mathematics League&nbsp;<br><\/b><b style=\"font-size: 18px;\">June 6, 2021<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Josh Daniel G. Cua of 12A \u2013 2nd place in Grade 12*<br>*His team, Team Matiyaga, got 2nd place among the four teams from the Philippines and ranked 10th place overall among the 34 teams whom
