UPDATED SPORTS PROGRAM GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS AND FETCHERS

Dear Parents,

As announced in the summer circular dated May 5, 2025, beginning this school year, we are implementing the following guidelines to ensure a safe and structured learning environment for all participants in our sports programs (Varsity and After School Sports Programs).

For Varsity Training

  1. Parents and fetchers are not allowed to stay and watch at the practice venue.

Parking Guidelines

  1. Parents and fetchers should park vehicles only at the designated parking areas while waiting.   Vehicles should not be parked or left idling at the No Parking zones outside the gates, especially in the vicinity of Gates 4 and 9.

For After School Sports Programs

  1. One Parent/guardian may accompany his/her child (12 years old and below) to the designated program venue but should wait at the Fetchers’ Area during the session.

  1. The blue card will serve as the pass to enter and exit Xavier School for both student and companion.

  1. For current Xavier students, tapping their school ID in and out is still required during the school year, in addition to presenting the blue card—except on weekends, when only the blue card is needed.

Proper Playing Attire:

  1. To ensure safety and discipline, all participants are required to wear the appropriate training attire and footwear specific to their sport.

  2. Jewelry and accessories are not allowed during training or games.

  3. For football in particular, shin guards, long socks, and football shoes  are mandatory, while those training to be goalkeepers must wear goalkeeper gloves.

  4. Those who are not in proper attire may not be allowed to participate.

Supervision & Assistance:

  1. For Learn to Swim, Teacher Assists (one for boys and one for girls) will be available to supervise bathroom breaks.

  2. Parents/guardians may assist their children with dressing before class and help them change after the session.

Special Considerations for Sports with Heavy or Bulky Equipment:

  1. For sports such as Fencing and Taekwondo, one parent/guardian may accompany his/her child to the program venue before the session begins but should wait at the waiting area after they have accompanied their children.

  2.  The parent/guardian may fetch his/her children at the program venues.

These measures are in place to prioritize student safety, foster independence, and maintain a structured program environment. We hope for everyone’s understanding and cooperation.
