During the month of June, a number of Xaverians participated in competitions organized by mathleague.org.

About Mathleague: It’s an annual mathematics competition that provides avenues for students from different schools to showcase their competence in mathematics. The purpose of the competition is to provide students an enriching opportunity to participate in an academically- oriented activity and to let students gain recognition for mathematical achievement.

The following Xaverians garnered awards in their respective categories:

Math League Middle School World Championship 
June 27, 2021

Awardees:
Jayce Preston S. Wong of G8G – 3rd place in G7
Jacob Miles Anthony S. Tan of G9B – 3rd place in G8
Marcus Jaden G. Castro of G9C – 8th place in G8
(NOTE: The delegates from our school participated under the year level of the previous school year)

International Regions Mathematics League 
June 6, 2021

Josh Daniel G. Cua of 12A – 2nd place in Grade 12*
*His team, Team Matiyaga, got 2nd place among the four teams from the Philippines and ranked 10th place overall among the 34 teams whom participated.
