The Xavier community is excited to share the outstanding achievements of two talented young racers, Jiro Alvendia of Grade 7I and Andretti Marco Santos of Grade 4E, at the 2023 Macao Karting Festival / Asian Karting Open Championship (AKOC) RND1. Competing in the Formula Cadet category, both drivers showcased their skill and determination, earning well-deserved podium finishes. 

In the Formula Cadet Novice division, Jiro Alvendia displayed impressive driving skills, securing the 2nd Runner Up position in the Finals. Additionally, Jiro secured the 4th Runner Up spot in the Cadet Macao overall trophy category, further highlighting his talent on the track. He represented the AP Corse Motorsports team with pride throughout the event.

Andretti Marco Santos demonstrated expertise in the Formula Cadet Expert category, earning the 1st Runner Up position in the Finals. Andretti also achieved the 2nd Runner Up position in the Cadet Macao overall trophy category, reflecting his consistent performance throughout the competition. He represented the Formula E Racing Management / Resultado Team with determination.

We congratulate Jiro Alvendia and Andretti Marco Santos for their impressive performances at the 2023 Macao Karting Festival. Their podium finishes in the Formula Cadet category exemplify their talent, skill, and dedication to kart racing. We commend their hard work and the support of their respective teams, AP Corse Motorsports and Formula E Racing Management.
