  1. As we approach the changeover to the new school leaders for this coming school year,I am very pleased that the school has provided a venue where one can express his observations regarding the new appointees of the HS and GS school leaders.
The school administrators are beginning to take over this coming school year.We are confident that each one of them brings necessary skills, experience and talents to their new leadership roles and we wish them success.
May I suggest that the school embarks on a leadership succession plan and implement a process to recruit high calibre teachers who can be trained as future administrators.
Allow me to share an excerpt from the “ The Principal’s Principles” A Hundred Lessons in School Leadership
Any school needs change and an injection of new ideas and vision, hence periodical leadership change is necessary. Schools are about young people in new ages or generations of growth in a rapidly changing world; aging leadership can also be an obstacle to change and growth’.
To overstay one’s welcome is very dangerous for the school and the head. Principals can outgrow and outlast their tenure of office. Leadership and management have a defined time elapse or expiry date.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to express my views .
