& XS Vehicle Sticker for School Year 2023-2024

Please be informed of the following guidelines that we will follow for School Year 2023 – 2024.

1. XAVIER SCHOOL MULTI-LEVEL PARKING
Given the no parking rule on the streets and the existing ordinance regarding the clamping of illegally parked vehicles, parents are discouraged from having their drivers spend the entire day parked around the perimeter  of Xavier to wait for their wards.  It is best for parents/ drivers/ fetchers to fetch the student/s when it is nearing his dismissal time.

In the unavoidable circumstance that a parent/ driver/ fetcher needs to wait for the student’s dismissal or if you have transactions in school that will take time, we strongly encourage you to use the school’s Multi-Level Pay Parking Building.

The operating hours of the Multi-Level Pay Parking Building is from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, from Monday to Friday and 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday. The parking building is closed on Sundays and holidays, but may be opened if there are special school events and activities.

The parking rate is P50 for the first 3 hours and an additional P10 for every succeeding hour.   There is  a FREE 10-minute grace period upon entry.

IMPORTANT:   Drivers should be instructed that 1] the car’s engine should be turned OFF when parked , 2] the school has a NO SMOKING policy.  Repeat offenders may be banned from using this parking facility.

2. XS VEHICLE STICKERS
Please be informed that only vehicles with valid Xavier School stickers shall be allowed to enter/pass through Gate 14 (High School Driveway), Gate 4 (Sports Center Driveway), and Gate 5A (EED Driveway) to drop off students in their assigned gate in the morning.

The vehicle sticker is now available for purchase at a cost of P250 per sticker.  To purchase sticker/s, kindly present to the Gate 2 lobby guard the following: 1] enrolment slip bearing your son’s name, and 2] accomplished Vehicle Information Sheet.   Then, proceed to the Cashier at the Accounting Office for payment.  The “One Sticker per Vehicle Rule” will be strictly observed.

For safety and security reasons and to properly identify vehicles around the campus, we encourage Xavier Parents to acquire the XS Vehicle Sticker.

3. ENTRANCE AND EXIT GATES
For School Year 2023-2024, the following school gates will be used for the entrance and exit of students.  We have assigned particular gates to specific grade levels to decongest the waiting areas and to facilitate smooth traffic flow.  However, all gates (except Gate 6) may be used by ALL grade levels.

Parents/ guardians/ yayas/ drivers will not be allowed to loiter or wait inside the school premises.  There will be designated waiting areas at the gates.

4. TRAFFIC FLOW SCHEME:
To address the traffic concerns in the immediate vicinity of the school and the surrounding communities, the City of San Juan, Barangay (Greenhills and Little Baguio), Greenhills West Association Inc., ICA and Xavier School have agreed to implement the TRAFFIC FLOW SCHEME from 6:00 to 8:30 AM and from 12:00 to 5:00 PM during school days and on weekends when there are school activities (except for Item D).

Please refer to the diagram below for your guidance.

Cooperation is the key to efficiency.  Given this, kindly make sure to support the school’s “DONE IN 15 SECONDS” campaign.  This campaign aims to teach students the importance of alertness and responsibility by having them follow the 15-second rule for stopping the car, dropping off/ picking up the child, and driving off.  To fully support this, it is best to check your child’s school needs before leaving home to avoid lingering during drop-off.

Finally, we would like to remind everyone of the ordinance regarding the clamping of illegally parked vehicles around the school.   To avoid inconvenience,  kindly  follow all the traffic rules and regulations issued by San Juan TPMO,  Barangay Greenhills and Barangay Little Baguio.    We appeal to everyone’s civic responsibility in ensuring the success of these programs for these will surely redound to the common good.

Thank you for your support and cooperation.
