Xavier School Students Qualify in the World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) Tournament Finals

Xavier School is thrilled to announce the exceptional performance of our grade school students in the Preliminary Round of the World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) Tournament held on March 4, 2023. In partnership with the Asian Math and Science League Incorporated, WMI is the first international and comprehensive competition from Taiwan that promotes mathematics among kindergarten to senior high school students. The competition engages the students with innovative and exemplary problem sets that challenge the participants’ knowledge and skills.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the following student-winners and their outstanding achievements:

Lucas John R. Aquino – Gold Award

Allen Cu-Uy-Gam – Bronze Award

Harold Theodore Y. Lorenzo – Gold Award

The students also earned a spot in the WMI Finals to be held in South Korea on July 14-18, 2023. 

The Xavier community is grateful for the hard work, dedication, and perseverance shown by these students, as well as the unwavering support of their parents and the school community.
