Last Friday, October 14, the Department of Education issued amendments to D.O. 34 allowing private schools to continue observing weekly online school days, and fully online classes.
In the Xavier School context, this means that:
- The weekly online class days (Wednesdays in Nuvali, Fridays in San Juan), will continue for the rest of the school year.
- All students are now expected to be in the White group, reporting to school four days a week.
- Parents who have requested to continue with the fully online option will be accommodated until the end of the school year. Please note that this modality will no longer be offered in school year 2023-2024, as it is our conviction that basic education is best done in-person.
- Students who have not submitted their medical clearances should do so before the Mid-Term Break that starts on October 29.
Please be guided accordingly.
