To the Xavier Community:
The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2020 Xavier-Kuangchi Award for Exemplary Alumni, five alumni educators who have been serving at Xavier School for more than 15 years and have consistently performed excellently, especially in direct work with students:
We congratulate Alvin, Ronald, Jojo, Jonah, and Exxon for pursuing a vocation in education for their brother Xaverians. We will have an opportunity to share their stories when the award is conferred some time next year.
May their example inspire our alumni, especially the young ones who are still making career choices, to consider non-traditional fields of endeavor, especially those that have to do with education and formation of the youth.
We thank the Xavier community and the awards committee, headed by Fr. Peter Pojol, SJ, for their involvement in this year’s search.
