Date : June 4, 2019

To : The Xavier Community

From : Mr. Gerardo M. Castañeda (Security Coordinator)

In line with our continuing efforts to improve traffic conditions in the immediate vicinity of the school and the surrounding communities, the City of San Juan, Barangays (Greenhills and Little Baguio), Greenhills West Homeowners Association, Xavier School and ICA have agreed to implement the following:

PAY PARKING

Per Executive Order No. GGG-05 & GGG-06 series 2011 and JVE-C-05 & JVE-C-09 series of 2008, the school campus (outside perimeter) will be covered by the pay parking policy from 7:00 am – 7:00pm. This pay parking policy will be implemented from Monday- Saturday only. A NO PARKING policy will be imposed along the perimeter streets between the hours of 6:00 AM- 7:30 AM.

Note: The City of San Juan and Barangay Little Baguio have separate pay parking tickets. Thus, you cannot use the parking ticket of the City of San Juan when parking in Little Baguio and vice versa.

XS VEHICLE STICKERS

As part of its security management system, the school will still require owners of vehicles who will be allowed to access inside the campus, to secure an XS vehicle sticker.

Only vehicles with valid Xavier School stickers shall be allowed to enter Gate 14 (High School Driveway), Gate 4 (Sports Center Driveway) and Gate 5A (EED Driveway) for dropping off students in the morning.

The vehicle sticker will be available during enrolment period at a cost of 250 per sticker. Please note that we will strictly observe the “One Sticker per Vehicle Rule”. To purchase sticker/s, kindly present the enrolment slip bearing your son’s name and section together with the fully accomplished Vehicle Information Sheet to the Accounting Office.

For Safety and Security Reasons to properly identify vehicles around the campus we encourage Xavier Parents to acquire XS Vehicle Stickers.

WE ALSO ENCOURAGE XAVIER PARENTS TO AVAIL OF THE XS STEEL PAY PARKING FACILITY LOCATED AT WASHINGTON STREET. SHOULD YOU WISH TO AVAIL OF THE PAY PARKING FACILITY, THE CURRENT XS VEHICLE STICKER OR FETCHING CARD MAY BE USED FOR VERIFICATION PURPOSES . DAILY OPERATING HOURS WILL BE FROM 6:00 AM TO 7:00PM (MONDAY-FRIDAY)

REVISED TRAFFIC SCHEME

Please take note that this scheme will be implemented starting THURSDAY, 13 JUNE 2019.

We would like to encourage everyone to strictly follow all traffic regulations. Barangays (Greenhills and Little Baguio), Greenhills West Homeowners Association, Xavier School and ICA have devised a way to track erring drivers and/or traffic violators.

ENTRANCE AND EXIT GATES

For School Year 2019-2020, the following school gates will be used for entrance and exit of students.

Finally, in anticipation of the heavy traffic in the school perimeter during school days due to the road and drainage rehabilitation/ improvement project of DPWH which is expected to last until November 2019, we would like to encourage everyone to please consider other possible options like carpooling, availing of school bus service (list of accredited school bus providers is available at the Security Office) and other schemes to minimize the number of vehicles that will come to school.

We, in cooperation with the Xavier School Parents’ Auxiliary (XSPA) are also studying the possibility of providing point-to-point (P2P) service vehicles, which will transport the students from specific pick-up points to Xavier School. Details and mechanics will be released in a separate memo once it is finalized.

We would like to request our parents to share the above information with their drivers who will be bringing their son/s to school. We appeal to everyone’s civic responsibility in ensuring the success of these programs that will redound to the common good. If everyone does his/her share, the traffic scheme implemented will alleviate traffic problems and keep Xavier School and its surrounding area a safe and secure environment for all.

Thank you for your cooperation.
